The greatest concentration of apartments in Point Grey is found near the neighbourhood’s famous beaches. This makes it a more westerly, affluent version of Kitsilano. It attracts the same demographic mix of young professionals, seniors and students – many of them drawn by the recreational opportunities the beaches and nearby Pacific Spirit Regional Park present. Proximity to UBC and the retail centre of West 10th Avenue also accounts for the predominance of apartments on the western edge of the neighbourhood just outside the UBC gates.
